Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

What a exciting day of fun in the snow yesterday. It was a half day of school anyways so in that case we got jipped. It started to snow about an hour after getting home and it did not take long for the girls to start begging to go outside. Luckily, after the cold snap and snow recently the gear was not to hard to find. The girls were sledding and making snowmen till it got dark. Then I turned the lights on for them. I did have to finally call them in.

We got about 5" in the first 5 hours and it continued all night turning into rain in the end. The rain made playing in it the next day not as nice so we decided to skip and play Wii instead.

New Years 2010

It is a new year and a start to something I feel like I should have been doing since my children were little. Oh wait, this technology did not exist yet 10 years ago. I hope my children forgive me for not being a "scrap booking" mom. This is going to be my attempt at documenting events for my girls. Where to start is the question? I missed out on the baby things...I missed the cute toddler days...So I will start in the tween years. They are the most challenging yet coming up. Right?

Don't get me wrong I have plenty of photos and the baby books are respectably filled in with important information. I just want to start doing a better job at keeping our family memories and events documented.

Our ski vacation 2010 Lake Tahoe

This vacation was so long over due it was not even funny. Jan 17th 2010 just could not come fast enough. The weather leading up to our trip was awful in Franklin. It snowed and was terribly cold. Unfortunately the weather did not improve much when we went to Lake Tahoe, CA. We had 3' of snow in 4 days which is not a bad thing sking. But the winds that came with the snow were the problem. But who cares we are on VACATION with the Murphys! Some highlights of our trip are re caped in the photos below.
