Trimont Gold and Silver Eagles
I am so proud of my children. As a mother who rarely made this elite group of students this is so wonderful to see. My husband on the other hand is very familiar with being in the top of the class so it tells me that our kids got it from their smart dad. So proud of the students hard work and dedication from the parents.

I heard this funny song this week and it brought a smile to my face :)
If you get a chance check it out. Smile today!
"Pray for you" by Jaron and the long road to love
It really is not the right attitude but sometimes you just feel like this. :) hehe

Happy Bithday to the man who "lights" up our lives
Kitty and all her little friends
This is Kit Kat our kitty. She adopted us about 4 yrs ago. One evening in October 2006 daddy and the girls were outside in the back yard. Now we have had bob cats, bear, and other animals around our home so when Scott heard a cat sound he was a little worried. He was alone in the woods unarmed with two small girls. He asked the girls to be still, quite and get low to the ground. Then all of a sudden this little hungry stray kitten comes walking up to them. They all felt silly but excited to see a kitten. She seem to just stick around and eventually she was ours.
Our Kitty has not been a fan of all the weather that we have been having in Franklin this winter. She tries to get in the house every chance she gets. Well, she is an outside kitty but this winter has been pretty tough on her. She looks for cozy spots. This is one she found by the fireplace.

"They just don't make men like you"
Let the adventure begin. Helicopter pilot...check...Photograper...check...
two sleds and 2 adventurous men...check
Pictures are worth a thousand words. But I'm sure these photos come with a few questions. The boys had an idea to go on a heli sledding adventure to Siler Bald, NC. As they are flying in it looks like a ski run all to yourself. Sweet! As they get closer they see a man standing right where they intend to land. I'm sure it was a little strange to see a helicopter coming in above you. I can just imagine what he was thinking. He gladly moved to a safer spot and they continued to land.
Chris and Scott take down the mountain while Becky and Jim take photos from the ground and air. Chris seems to suffer the worst injuries as seen in the photo. The snow was flying up in his face while sledding causing small cuts. It is not extreme without some pain right?
The adventure seems to be a success and we hope to post a video. Boys will be boys!
