Cooking and preparing dinner
Work just keeps coming. Scott just keeps working. Help! If you put in 70-80-90 hour weeks that just leaves you no time to be with your family. I understand it all and am trying to do the best I can to find things to do this summer to keep my mind off of Scott not being home. It will not last so we just have to grin and bear the long days. Not one day are we not thankful for the work we have but a little more spaced out would be ok.
So to make our evening more exciting than sitting around waiting for dad to come home we are doing playdates with friends. When school is out and the kids do not see each other everyday they seem to miss friends more. We had Grace come over for a pizza party. We enjoyed making pizza, singing karaoke, and going out for peppermint patties ice cream. We had so much fun enjoying each others company that daddy beat us home at 8:30pm and was wondering where his girls were.
