Zuiderveen Farm

Our visit over to the "Zuiderveen farm" was to welcome the new calf Samantha. She was born a few days before. We were unable to get close enough to get a good picture. This is a picture of Cody and Anika feeding the mamma cow. This is so far out of our box that we had to go check it out. The girls enjoyed seeing the calf and getting close to the cows as much as a "city minded" girl could. I really didn't think Scott and I could produce farm girls. We just don't have that in us. Maybe some cowboy in the very far future will change that thinking. :)

The other cows on the farm are Summit, Supreme, Sam and Samantha. I see a pattern here.

Mother's day weekend

Mother's day weekend was filled with celebration. We celebrated the Mother's in our lives and the joining of Kristin and Jeff in marriage. It was a memorable weekend. Katelyn and Nicole were able to be guests at the wedding. This wedding was the first one they have been to that they were not flower girls. I really enjoyed watching them take in all the special moments that take place. Katelyn danced it up with mommy and other guests which made it a fun time.

Our Mother's Day Sunday was spent at the lake working on projects to help Lois get ready for the summer season. Being at the lake on the boat or working on projects makes it a great day no matter what. We love the Lake!
